Why go organic? For one, organically grown cotton is free of those pesky, harmful chemicals that affect farmers, as well as potentially influencing skin sensitivity or allergies. Choosing organic or larger, mass produced clothing supports smaller manufacturers while also being better for the environment. Less water is used during production and keeps harmful toxins out of water supplies.
A little bit goes a long way! Reusing, repurposing, and recycling textiles does wonders for the environment by keeping it out of landfills and overall keeping the carbon footprint lower. It's much cheaper to reuse old material than it does to create new material from scratch. A win-win situation!
